Upon launching the Early Access version of Accelerate, a tool for easily integrating cache strategies into Prisma-supported projects, user feedback revealed a clear issue. Users expressed uncertainty about proper connection and activation due to the lack of real-time feedback during that period.

Collaborating with Engineering, we defined a strategy for user feedback. During Early Access, as the team built the APIs, we gained access to crucial information, enabling us to track backend performance and usage metrics for cache strategies. In collaboration, we seamlessly integrated these metrics into the new platform.
The development of a straightforward yet scalable data visualization system allowed us to quickly incorporate the initial metrics in the next iteration. This enhancement delighted both users and our own engineers, empowering them to gain insights into the performance of their cache strategies.

While the MVP dashboard was already up and running, I knew there was room for improvement to enhance user value. That chance came during a company hackathon. I pitched and led a project to turn our existing data into visually informative insights. In a swift two-day collaboration with Engineers and Data Engineers, we hashed out a proposal for a more insightful and actionable dashboard.
